The CU women's 4x400-meter relay team recorded a fourth place finish in the preliminary round at Texas Relays on Friday to advance to the finals on Saturday.

After two grueling days competing on the track and in the field, University of Colorado junior Abrianna Torres came away with an eighth place finish in the women's heptathlon on Thursday at Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

Abrianna Torres is currently 10th after the first day of the heptathlon on Wednesday at the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with a score of 3,216 points.

The conditions were perfect at Potts Field on Saturday as the University of Colorado kicked off the outdoor season with several great performances.

The outdoor track and field season will officially get under way for CU with the Buffs hosting the Jerry Quiller Classic, March 20-21.

The Buffs finished the 2015 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship strong on Saturday with CU junior Morgan Pearson leading the way with a fifth place finish in the men's 3,000-meter run.
