After 26 minutes, 16.26 seconds of hard work, CSU sophomore Jerrell Mock crossed the finish line of the 8-kilometer cross country course at the Montrêux Golf Club in Reno, Nev., on Friday to win the 2015 Mountain West men's individual title. After Mock finished, 14 seconds passed before another athlete crossed the finish line. Mock's complete domination of the men's field led the No. 30 Colorado State men's team to a second place team finish, which exceeded expectations set by the MW Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll.
