With less than a week remaining before the onset of the 2015 Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, a small crew of distance athletes will be competing in Golden, Colo., on Sunday in a last chance effort to qualify for the conference championships and the subsequent NCAA West Preliminary Round. The aptly named Last Chance Meet will be hosted by the Colorado School of Mines, whose Stermole Track & Field Complex boasts favorable conditions for distance athletes.
