CSU men’s cross country runners Jefferson Abbey and Jerrell Mock were, quite literally, a 1-2 punch at Saturday’s Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota, finishing back-to-back at the front of the field of over 200 athletes in the dynamic duo’s most exciting performance to date. Abbey had arguably the strongest performance of his collegiate cross country career, winning the 8-kilometer men’s race in resounding fashion with a time of 24 minutes, 52 seconds.
