The Colorado State throws squad has historically excelled under head coach and throws coach Brian Bedard, and all signs point to continued excellence in 2015-16. The CSU throwers highlighted the second day of the CSM Alumni Classic on Friday, dominating both the men's and women's weight throws. Senior JT Van Veen won the men's weight throw with a toss of 57 feet, 3 inches. Linnéa Jönsson, a freshman from Uppsala, Sweden, finished second in the women's weight throw with a throw of 57-3.75. It was Jönsson's first-ever meet in a Colorado State uniform.
