Junior Collin Scheer wasted no time in the 2015-16 season to tie the Colorado State record for the men’s indoor high jump, clearing 7 feet, 0.5 inches and providing a moment to remember at the CSM Alumni Classic on Saturday. After coming close to both the indoor and outdoor high jump records during his sophomore season, Scheer cemented his name in the CSU record books by equaling Matt Hoskins’ 1988 jump on Saturday for the event victory. Scheer was not the only Ram to place his name in the record books, however, as senior Karly Reimel, a transfer athlete from Florida State, tied the second-best women’s pole vault in CSU indoor history with a mark of 12-5.5.
